Gökçe Özkarar Gradwohl 

She graduated from Boğaziçi University Psychology Department and completed her M.A. in clinical psychology at the same department. Being a member of Turkish Psychologists Association and Neuropsychology Society, she is working on individual and couples psychotherapy since 2001. She focused her studies and publications on schizophrenia, depression, and traumas following natural or man-made disasters. In 2003 she joined the International Society for Neuropsychoanalysis and in 2006 founded the İstanbul Neuropsychoanalysis Study Group. (designated as the Turkish Neuropsychoanalysis Study Group in 2013). Gökçe Özkarar-Gradwohl, who founded the "Circle of Affective Neuroscience" in 2011- as a branch of İstanbul Neuropsychoanalysis Study Group- carries out national and international affective neuroscience researches. In addition to being the organizer of the İstanbul Neuropsychoanalysis Conferences, she is on the editorial board of the journal "Frontiers in Psychoanalysis and Neuropsychoanalysis" as well. She continues her clinical studies and researches at Çınar Psychotherapy Center, which she is the founder of.
